libgirepository-1.0-1 software package provides Library for handling GObject introspection data (runtime library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgirepository-1.0-1
libgirepository-1.0-1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgirepository-1.0-1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgirepository-1.0-1 *
You will get with libgirepository-1.0-1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
